PBL Culmination - From Farm to My Plate (Grade 4)
Experiential learning is the process of 'learning by doing' and the example of the same was displayed by the students of Prudence School, Ashok Vihar. The students of Grade IV enthusiastically Culminated the theme 'From Farm to My Plate', under PBL (Project Based Learning)wherein a restaurant was set up in their respective classrooms. From menu to bill, decoration to space planning and taking orders to serving of the food, was all done by the students. The restaurants had different cuisines like South-Indian, Chinese, Italian, North-Indian etc. The classes were decorated by students according to their cuisine and they also dressed up accordingly. The students played the role of waiter, manager, cashier and many more which made it extremely exciting for them. It was a fun-filled and colorful event. This hands-on experience made students understand their theme in-depth. They were full of energy and enjoyed the experience to the fullest.
